Financial Aid

Financial aid is funding that is intended to help students pay for tuition and fees, room and board (or living expenses, if commuting), transportation, books and supplies.

Financial aid does not always cover all expenses, so it is imperative to look for additional ways to pay for your education. When students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), they are applying for the federal, state and university grants and loans offered at SCSU. It is important to note that grant funding is limited and awarded based on financial need and availability of funds.
