Library Resources

Buley Library provides access to a wide array of high-quality resources in multiple formats. Using academic library resources can greatly improve the quality and integrity of assignments, papers, projects and academic research. Copies of course required materials are available for borrowing via the Reserve collection housed at the Access Services front desk. During academic semesters the library is open 7 days each week. A variety of comfortable seating, a family study room, a lactation room, quiet study designated spaces and group study rooms are available. Research sources for assignments often include scholarly and peer-reviewed journal articles, books, primary source material, digital postings, magazines and newspapers (available in both print and electronic formats). Assistance is available at the Research and Information Desk on the first floor of Buley Library, or via the Ask A Librarian chat service located on our homepage. There is a subject librarian for every discipline taught at Southern! Contact information is in the Library Staff & Departmental Directory.
