Join us on Thursday, January 15, 2026, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the Adanti Student Center Theatre for the 2026 University Forum: "Cultivating Inclusivity & Belonging: Supporting Neurodivergent Students and Students with Disabilities at SCSU." This interactive workshop explores strategies for fostering equity, access, and belonging for neurodivergent students and students with disabilities in higher education. Through a series of interactive activities (a shared film viewing and discussion, a student and faculty panel, case studies, collaborative dialogue, and resource sharing), participants will examine barriers to inclusion, reflect on institutional practices, and engage with frameworks that center universal design, intersectionality, and student voice. Attendees will leave with actionable tools to create more responsive, affirming learning environments across campus roles and settings. This event is brought to you through a collaboration between the Office of Faculty Development, the Center for Excellence on Autism Spectrum Disorders, and the Chapel Haven Schleifer Center.
