Transportation

A daily commute by car takes a heavy toll on the environment. SCSU offers a range of environmentally friendly alternatives and resources.

CT Rides

CT Rides is a free program that can help SCSU commuters find the best way to get to work or school. This site offers resources for commuting options throughout Connecticut, including bus, rail, carpools, vanpools, biking, and walking.

UPass

UPass provides access to trains, buses, and smaller transit services in CT. All actively enrolled, in-person, undergraduate students are eligible to receive a U-Pass after payment of the transportation fee (part of tuition and fees). Passes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and quantities are limited. A valid SCSU Hoot Loot ID Card is also required. Graduate and early college high school students taking classes on campus should inquire at the card office.

SCSU Off-Campus Shuttle

The SCSU off-campus shuttle is available with hourly service downtown and to Union Station rail service.

Indoor Bike Storage

Available for residential students, contact the Office of Residence Life for more information.
