Registration Checklist

Be prepared to register on or after the date and time listed below. 

Schedule Planner makes it easy to find the perfect class schedule! Plug in the courses you need from your degree evaluation, verify you meet the prerequisites, add in your required breaks for work, sports, or family obligations, and review all your schedule options.  Save your favorite course schedule, and a backup, to have it ready for registration day! 

Launch Schedule Planner (overview video 2m8s)

  • Go to MySCSU
  • Select Banner Student
  • Records and Registration
  • Registration and Schedule Planner
  • Select the Term
  • Add Courses
  • Add Breaks (times you can't attend classes)
  • 'Generate Schedules' to review your schedule options
  • Select your favorite schedule to 'Send to Registration Cart'

Note: Once your registration date and time comes you can return to the Registration Cart and click 'Register'.

Undergraduate Students 

Do not delay in signing up for an academic advising appointment to receive your pin for Fall 2024 priority registration (not required for Summer registration).

  • Academic advising formats may vary, you will receive an email from your major department or advisor explaining the process.  
  • First-Semester Freshmen, you will meet individually with your INQ instructor for advising and pins. 
  • Priority registration ends April 21, 2024, after this date any student may register, and a pin will no longer be required. 

Graduate, Post-Baccalaureate, and Non-Degree Students

You do not need a pin to register, this includes undergraduate seniors registering for the first semester of their graduate program.

Summer 2024 Registration opens March 20, 2024 at 8:00 am for all students (no pin required).

Fall 2024 Registration opens April 1- April 15, 2024 by class, find your date and time below.

Note: Registration dates and times are determined by earned credits. You may confirm your earned hours in Banner Student>Registration & Records>Student Profile. Do not refer to your degree evaluation, it also includes in-progress credits.
