Schedule Planner makes it easy to find the perfect class schedule! Plug in the courses you need from your degree evaluation, verify you meet the prerequisites, add in your required breaks for work, sports, or family obligations, and review all your schedule options.  Save your favorite course schedule, and a backup, to have it ready for registration day! 

Launch Schedule Planner (overview video 2m8s)

• Go to MySCSU
• Select Banner Student
• Records and Registration
• Registration and Schedule Planner
• Select the Term
• Add Courses
• Add Breaks (times you can't attend classes)
• 'Generate Schedules' to review your schedule options
• Select your favorite schedule to 'Send to Registration Cart'

Note: Once your registration date and time comes you can return to the Registration Cart and click 'Register'.

Undergraduate Students 

Do not delay in signing up for an academic advising appointment to receive your pin for Spring 2025 priority registration (not required for Winter registration).

• First-semester freshmen, you will meet with your assigned Professional Advisor for course registration planning and to receive your registration PIN. 
• All other undergraduates, you will meet with your assigned Faculty Advisor for course registration planning and to receive your registration PIN.
• If you have not been contacted by your advisor, please reach out to them (who is my advisor?) directly for assistance.  
• Priority registration ends November 25, 2024, after this date any student may register, and a pin will no longer be required. 

Graduate, Post-Baccalaureate, and Non-Degree Students

You do not need a pin to register, this includes undergraduate seniors registering for the first semester of their graduate program. For students enrolled in a graduate or post-baccalaureate program, with course registration questions, please reach out to your graduate program coordinator or advisor for support.

Winter 2024-25 Registration opens November 4, 2024 at 8:00 am for all students (no pin required).

Spring 2025 Registration opens November 4- November 19, 2024 by class, find your date and time below.

Note: Registration dates and times are determined by earned credits. You may confirm your earned hours in Banner Student>Registration & Records>Student Profile. Do not refer to your degree evaluation, it also includes in-progress credits.

Resolve any registration holds BEFORE your registration date and time. To check your account, please visit MySCSU >> Banner Student>>Records and Registration. See 'Holds' in the the top right corner of your student profile for hold information.
