Schedule Planner helps you create the perfect class schedule, just follow these steps (quick video):

• Go to MySCSU
• Select Banner Student >> Records and Registration
• Go to Registration and Schedule Planner
• Select the Term
• Add Courses and Breaks
• Click 'Generate Schedules' to review your schedule options
• Choose your favorite schedule and 'Send to Registration Cart' (tip: save a back up schedule to favorites)

On your registration day, return to the 'Registration Cart' and click 'Register'.

Undergraduate students must schedule an advising appointment to get your PIN for spring priority registration (no PIN required for winter).

• First-semester freshmen: Meet with your Professional Advisor.
• All other undergraduates: Meet with your Faculty Advisor.
• Priority registration ends April 23, 2026, after this date, no PIN is needed.

Graduate, Post-baccalaureate, and Non-Degree Students (no PIN required).

• For course registration questions, contact your Faculty Advisor.

If you haven't heard from your advisor, contact them directly (who is my advisor?).  

Summer Registration opens March 20, 2026 at 8:00AM for all students, no pin required

 Fall Registration opens March 30 - April 16, 2026 by class and earned credits

For Advising Reference
A student's overall earned credit hours may be confirmed on Banner Student Profile. Note: Do not use the degree evaluation, it includes in-progress credits.

• Graduates, Post-baccalaureates, and Seniors accepted to a graduate program opens March 30 at 8AM
• Seniors opens March 31 at 8AM (120+ cr.); 10AM (110+ cr.); 12PM (100+ cr.); 2PM (90+cr.)
• Athletes, Honors, DRC opens March 31 at 4PM
• Juniors opens April 6 at 8AM (80+ cr.); 10AM (70+ cr.); 12PM (60+ cr.)
• SEOP opens April 7 at 8AM 
• Sophomores opens April 8 at 8AM (50+ cr.); 10AM (40+ cr.); 12PM (30+ cr.)
• Freshmen opens April 16 at 8AM (20+ cr.); 10AM (10+ cr.); 12PM (0+ cr.)
• Graduate Non-Degree opens April 20 at 8AM
• Undergraduate Non-Degree opens April 23 at 8AM

Check your account and resolve registration holds before your registration date:

• Go to MySCSU
• Select Banner Student >> Records and Registration
• Check 'Holds' in the the top right corner of your student profile.
