Students may authorize the release of their academic and/or financial records to a designated individual (e.g., parent or other third party), and add users to receive bill statements and make payments on their behalf. Authorizations may be updated or revoked at any time.
To Add Access to Academic/Financial Records:
1. Log into MySCSU.
2. Go to Banner Student.
3. Records and Registration.
4. Authorization to Release Records.
5. Add or Remove a Designee.
6. Choose Financial and/or Academic Records.
7. Set up a 4-digit authorization code.
To Add Bill and Payment Online Access:
1. Log into MySCSU.
2. Go to Banner Student.
3. Bill and Payment.
4. Add Authorized Users by email address.
There are several ways for approved parents and other third parties to access records:
- When calling to discuss records, have your 4-digit authorization code ready.
- Use the Parent or Third-Party Login to view billing statements and make payments.
- Submit the Release of Records Request Form to request an unofficial transcript or enrollment verification.
