Commencement Eligibility

Commencement is a ceremony to celebrate and recognize recent and upcoming graduates in the current academic year.

Students awarded Fall 2025 or Winter 2025-26 degrees and students who will be completing all remaining degree requirements in Spring 2026 or Summer 2026 and have at least 100 credits (including in-progress credits), will be invited to participate in the May 2026 Commencement ceremony.

Students should review their degree evaluation to confirm their estimated graduation term and contact their degree auditor in the Registrar’s Office if any updates are needed.

Eligible students will receive an email in late March regarding registration for the ceremony.

Please visit the Commencement website for more information and details about the event.

Students earning a degree or certificate in the current academic year must complete the Commencement Participation Form online to participate in the commencement ceremony held annually each spring.

Please visit the Commencement website for more information and details about the event.

Note: Participation in commencement is not a confirmation of graduation. See Diplomas for more information about receiving your diploma.
