Swap Shop Reuse Store

Give supplies a second life at the Swap Shop!

The Swap Shop is a FREE office supply reuse store for faculty and staff, located in Engleman Hall, Room C108. The store is stocked with new and gently used office supplies donated by departments across campus. Faculty and staff are welcome to browse the selection and take what they need at no cost!

From pens, folders, and desk organizers to toner and other office essentials, the Swap Shop helps campus departments find useful supplies while reducing waste and promoting reuse.

A Small Idea Making a Big Difference

What started as a single box in 2010 has grown into a well-stocked reuse store serving faculty and staff across campus. With the continued support and generosity of campus departments, the Swap Shop keeps usable office supplies in circulation, reduces unnecessary purchases, and helps prevent perfectly good items from ending up in the trash.

How It Works

  • Shop for FREE: Faculty and staff can stop by to find office supplies and other useful items for their workspace.
  • Donate and Reuse: Departments are encouraged to donate new or gently used office supplies they no longer need.
  • Reduce Waste: By giving supplies a second life, we help conserve resources and support a more sustainable campus.

Help Keep the Swap Shop Going!

Before purchasing new supplies, check out the Swap Shop to see what’s available. If your department has surplus office supplies in good condition, consider donating them so someone else can put them to use.

Together, we can save resources, reduce waste, and make reuse a part of everyday campus life!
