SCSU Helpdesk and User Services Team

Assistance with online access to classes, email, and printing. The User Services Team provides direct end-user support to the SCSU Campus. IT Technicians are stationed on the first floor of Buley Library. This one-stop IT support hub is available to all members and affiliates of the university.

Center for Academic Success and Accessibility Services

The Academic Success Center’s aim is to assist students to become more independent and self-motivated learners, to master course material, and to develop and apply effective study strategies.  This center serves the entire student body by helping students prepare, advance, and excel. It will provide an environment that is personal, caring, accessible, and friendly where students can make it their home for academic support. We also ensure educational equity for students with disabilities. Financial Advising

This department works collaboratively with various cross-divisional staff to design, implement, and assess financial literacy programs and financial planning services for prospective and current students.  Through advising, outreach and on-campus programming, I raise awareness about financial literacy, student aid programs, scholarships, career paths, and financial obligations.  I create individual financial plans aligned with student academic plans culminating in timely degree completion.

Leave of Absence

Students who need to take time off from their studies, with the intention of returning, must submit a Leave of Absence form to the Registrar’s Office and are strongly encouraged to meet with their faculty advisor to discuss plans for degree completion. Students may take a leave of absence for up to two consecutive semesters (12 months) without the need to reapply for admission when they return.
