The Registrar's Office is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of student records.  Services provided by the Registrar's Office include registration services, graduation services, transcript requests, enrollment and degree verifications, classroom scheduling, grade processing, and applications for in-state residency.

Through this link you can access your classes online with Blackboard Learn, pay your school bills, see your student records, add money to your hoot loot card, view holds on your account, and take surveys through MySCSU’s Student Portal and Banner Student, and reset your password here under Password Reset.


SCSU Helpdesk and User Services Team; 203-392-5123

Assistance with online access to classes, email, and printing. The User Services Team provides direct end-user support to the SCSU Campus. IT Technicians are stationed on the first floor of Buley Library. This one-stop IT support hub is available to all members and affiliates of the university.

Food Services

Shuttle Bus Services

The Southern Connecticut Shuttle Service is a cooperative safety-oriented transportation service, offered to the SCSU community through the University Police Department. The SCSU Shuttle system operates on a fixed route schedule, providing safe, convenient, and reliable transportation throughout the campus and surrounding community.

Center for Academic Success and Accessibility Services

The Academic Success Center’s aim is to assist students to become more independent and self-motivated learners, to master course material, and to develop and apply effective study strategies.  This center serves the entire student body by helping students prepare, advance, and excel. It will provide an environment that is personal, caring, accessible, and friendly where students can make it their home for academic support. We also ensure educational equity for students with disabilities. We provide assistance and information on issues of access to ensure the full participation of students with disabilities at Southern. 



The bookstore is where you can purchase textbooks, apparel, gifts & accessories, supplies & electronics, special offers, and collections.


Career and Professional Development

The Office of Career and Professional Development is here to help you define and enact your vision of career success. We offer a comprehensive array of services both in-person and online, delivered by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Each student receives a customized experience by working with the staff to address individual needs. Whether you are meeting with a staff member or visiting us on our website, the OCPD team is available to assist you with all aspects of your career journey.


Financial Advising

This department works collaboratively with various cross-divisional staff to design, implement, and assess financial literacy programs and financial planning services for prospective and current students.  Through advising, outreach and on-campus programming, I raise awareness about financial literacy, student aid programs, scholarships, career paths, and financial obligations.  I create individual financial plans aligned with student academic plans culminating in timely degree completion.

Leave of Absence

Students who need to take time off from their studies, with the intention of returning, must submit a Leave of Absence form to the Registrar’s Office and are strongly encouraged to meet with their faculty advisor to discuss plans for degree completion. Students may take a leave of absence for up to two consecutive semesters (12 months) without the need to reapply for admission when they return.



Forms found here include Leave of Absense forms, Change of Major/Minor, Grade Appeal Form, Late Add/Drop Appeal, Enrollment Verification, Selection of Degree Program, Transfer Credit Request (Undergraduate and Graduate), etc.
