Disposal/Surplus

The disposal of surplus property must be authorized by the Associate Vice President or his designee, Wes Meeker, Director of Facilities Operations Services.  The Inventory Office will arrange disposal of all inventory equipment that is no longer of use to departments.

  • Submit a Facilities Operations electronic work order with the fault code for "moving" (MOV).  Click Here to Access the Maintenance Direct Work Order System
  • Note the barcode number and a brief description of the asset to be removed from your department.
    Used office furniture can be obtained through the Inventory Office, in most cases at no charge. 
  • Submit a Facilities Operations electronic work order containing your furniture needs. 
  • Click on "Moving Truck" Icon.
