Get Involved

From tech-talks, hackathons, career fairs, clubs, and more, there are many ways to get involved in Computer Science. Our Computer Science club offers meetings and events catered to student collaboration and learning. NCWIT and ACM-W are two organizations that focus on supporting women in computing and increasing recruitment and retention. Hosted here at Southern, Google DevFest is an annual event that features world leaders who delve into the latest Google technologies. 

We are constantly looking for more students to join our clubs and get more involved. Networking is a must in any career and very much encouraged in our department. Attending events are also a great way to gain further knowledge and socialize with other computer scientists! We accept all students interested in technology - whether you're majoring in CS or not.
