Peer Academic Leader

Peer Academic Leader (PALS) Program is a series of weekly review sessions for students taking historically difficult courses. PALS is provided for all students in the supported classes who want to improve their understanding of course material and improve their grades.

PALS are undergraduate students who have successfully completed the class for which they are assigned to support. PALS attend class for their assigned course once per week and then plan and hold two review sessions for the students enrolled in that class section to review and discuss challenging concepts, share additional resources and materials, and help students develop more effective study skills.

Success Navigators

Success Navigators are the face of the Southern Success Center as the first point of contact for students, faculty, and staff who enter our area. Success Navigators greet students, help students schedule and sign-in for appointments, answer phones, and perform basic clerical duties (e.g. data entry, copying/scanning, filing, etc.).
