Southern Seminars

Southern Connecticut State University is proud to share a diverse set of faculty-presented seminars available to your home institution.  Ranging from stars to cells, from blue economy to microplastics, from reading disabilities to immune responses, and from health inequities to service-based learning, the faculty of SCSU represent scholars that cover the gamut of disciplines that are important to our collective future.  Members of our Southern community are available to offer discipline-based, 45–60-minute seminars at your campus or remotely, as preferred.  The seminars listed below are categorized broadly; click the category to get a list of available seminars.

These seminars are appropriate for broadly interested groups as a special lecture or for relevant classes.  The process for arranging a seminar is simple: click “Register” beside the seminar of your choice.  You will be connected to the speaker and can arrange to arrange a seminar presentation that meets your and the speaker’s needs.  There is no charge for any seminar.
