Are you a newly admitted first-year (freshman) or transfer student with questions/concerns about your first semester course schedule? Read below for information!
First-year students (freshmen) in their first semester are REQUIRED to connect with an advisor to add/drop a course(s). You can do so by scheduling a Same-Day Advising Meeting (be sure to read all instructions).
IMPORTANT: The last day to add/drop is Tuesday, 1/25/2022
CHANGING YOUR MAJOR
If you are a new first-year student (freshman) and would like to change your major, we encourage you to first speak with a member of the Academic Advising Team so that you can make a well-informed decision and discuss any potential schedule changes. You can visit our "Meet with an Advisor" page for information on how to meet with an advisor.
Spring 2022 enrollment is now closed. If you were admitted for the Spring 2022 semester and missed the deadline you may defer your acceptance to the Fall 2022 semester by completing a Withdraw or Defer your Admission to Southern form.
All new transfer students are required to schedule an advising appointments where they will receive a registration PIN.
The appointment system will open on February 7th and advising appointments will begin on March 7th for the Fall 2022 semester.
Fall 2022 course registration opens on April 5th and is based on class standing. You can check registration dates and times on the website.
