Graduate Study in Physics
At the graduate level, students may select an M.S. degree program in applied physics, which is a research-oriented interdisciplinary program housed in the Physics Department, or a physics concentration for the M.S. in science education, which is offered through the Department of Science Education and Evironmental Studies.
The Physics Department also offers a Graduate Certificate in Nanotechnology, which is a three-course graduate certificate program with a prerequisite of one foundational science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) course at the advance undergraduate or graduate level.
