B.S degree students are required to complete 3 credits of internship and can complete up to 9 credits at one or more internships.

B.A. degree students are not required to complete an internship but are strongly recommended to do so.

Each credit requires 50 hours of actual work (3 credits = 150 hours).

The internship can be completed in Connecticut or out of state or out of the country.

The intern must register by the end of the add/drop period for any semester -- fall, spring, summer, as well as over the winter intercession.

Internships can be completed at more than one company.

The student and workplace supervisor arrange the days and hours for the internship, as well as the specific duties.

Internships should not be undertaken without official registration.
