SCSU Code of Conduct
Hard copies of the Student Code of Conduct are available in the Office of Student Conduct and Civic Responsibility.
Academic institutions exist for the transmission of knowledge, the pursuit of truth, the development of students and the general well being of society. In line with this purpose, the University has the duty to protect the freedoms of inquiry and expression and furthermore has the responsibility to encourage all if its members to develop the capacity for critical judgment in their sustained and independent search for truth.
The CSU system Student Code of Conduct should be read and followed by ALL members of the Southern Connecticut State University community. Any violation of the Code will result in a meeting with the Office of Student Conduct and Civic Responsibility and possible disciplinary action.
