Drop-In Advising
To provide better support during the add/drop period, we are offering two types of drop-in advising:
In-Person Drop-Ins: 9am to 4pm in Buley 102
Simply show up to our main office in 102 Buley Library anytime between 9am - 4pm and we’ll have advisors available to see you. Drop-ins are on a first come, first served basis. Depending on what time you come, there could be a short wait.
Virtual Same-Day Advising: 9am – 4pm Virtual
If you're not able to make it to the main advising office in-person, you can schedule a virtual same-day meeting. On the day you’re looking to meet with someone, use the following link to schedule a virtual meeting. Space is limited.
How To Schedule A Virtual Same-Day Advising Meeting:
The ability to register for a same-day advising meeting will only be available between 9am and 3:30pm on the day of the desired meeting. Outside of that time OR if there are no more remaining times slots for that day, please check back again between 9am and 3:30pm on the following weekday (Monday-Friday)
- Click the "Schedule a Same-Day Advising Meeting" button below
- Under "What type of appointment would you like to schedule?", select "Academic Advising & Faculty Office Hours".
- Under "What support or service would you like to schedule?", select "Same-Day Advising Meeting (for quick questions)".
- Follow the remaining prompts in the system.
- If you do not see any availability listed, it means that meeting slots for the day have filled. Please check back again between 9am and 3:30pm on the following weekday (Monday-Friday)
NOTE: Signing in (link below) at the beginning of the day (9am) will give you the most options for advisor time availability.
