University Assistant - Disability Resource Center
(This is a temporary, part-time position; may be renewed at the University’s discretion)
DUTIES
Under the supervision of the Director, the UA will assist in providing and planning various programs and services provided by the DRC, which may include; note-taking accommodations, data entry and tracking, exam scheduling and proctoring, front office coverage etc. The UA is expected to work up to 18 hours per week. The exact schedule will be established by the Director in coordination with the UA. If the contract for this position is renewed, the scheduled hours may change for any subsequent contracted period dependent on the DRC coverage needs, other University Assistant schedules, and related issues.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The University Assistant must be able to work in a team environment, work with students with disabilities, multi-task, knowledge of MS applications, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and be able to work with diverse individuals with diverse needs.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A preferred applicant for the University Assistant position would have an Associate’s degree or related experience.
