Finding Internships
The first place to check for internships is this site. Click below to be taken to the list of selected SCSU internship postings.
Next, many students pursue internships through their department of study. Many faculty members have connections and may be willing to help you secure an internship. Talk to your faculty members and department chairs about any available internships or opportunities available for your major/field of study.
During the internship search, you may have to network with others and ask around to find out about internships. Attend job/career fairs, ask fellow students, and research the internet. If you are still having trouble finding internships, make an appointment with SCSU Career Advising (information below). The counselors there will help you get started on your search. You may want to use certain job/internship-specific websites in your search, such as Southern’s JOBs site (contact Career Services to gain access).
