Position: University Assistant
Department: Center for Educational and Assistive Technology
Category: Part-time (19 hours per week)

Position Description

  • Assist the Center Director and staff in coordinating and connecting with faculty, students, and community members.
  • Assist with providing educational technology training and support, including one-on-one assistance for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Assist with collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on technology usage and outcomes.
  • Provide general office support and contribute to the daily operations of the Center.
  • Perform other duties related to the support of educational and assistive technology, as needed.
  • The hourly rate for this position is $22-$25 an hour.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to quickly acquire new skills and effectively utilize a range of technology platforms, with a focus on educational and assistive technologies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
