Under the direction of the Center Director, the Program Coordinator will assist with the administration, coordination, and implementation of grant or contract related goals and objectives. The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation and coordination of the activities within the Autism Center.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists the Center Director in the administration and delivery of programs and all related activities.
Assists with managing the Center budget.
Coordinates participants in grant or contract related activities and prepares data and reports for the Director. Contributes to the design of Center-related programs, services and training.
Assists with the development and delivers presentations services and promotions related to the Center and its goals as well as prepares Center-related documents and reports.
Assists with the creation of and access to materials of all types for the support of Center-related activities and goals. Assists with the recruitment of program participants and coordinates training sessions.
Assists the Center Director with the analysis and dissemination of study results.
May travel to sites throughout the State in the administration of duties.
Performs other duties and responsibilities related to those enumerated above that do not alter the basic level of responsibility of the position.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; preference in a related field to Center subject matter. A minimum of 2 years experience with program coordination is required. Evidence of organizational skills. Strong analytical and communication skills. Excellent writing and data analysis skills. Ability to diplomatically serve as liaison to all university administrative offices and external entities involved in Center funded and other related activities. Computer literacy. Previous experience in Center writing and implementation highly preferred. Credentials and/or experience substantially comparable to the above may also be considered.
