Position Summary
The MBA Graduate Assistant will assist the Director and the Secretary of the MBA Department with the daily operations within the Department.
Specific Duties / Responsibilities
- Ensure confidentiality in compliance with the university policies.
- Provide general administrative support for the Director or Secretary.
- Assist with special projects as needed to support the MBA Department.
- Assist with general office coverage in-person, on the phone and electronically as determined by the director.
- The MBA graduate assistant will provide support to other affiliated offices in the school of Business with primary support to the MBA Department.
Position Qualifications / Requirements
Applicants must possess strong written and verbal communication as well as problem-solving skills. The chosen MBA graduate assistant should be well versed in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in addition to other programs necessary to support the department. In addition, applicant must be a matriculated MBA student at SCSU and must be enrolled full-time. A minimum 3.0 overall GPA (must be maintained throughout the semester).
