Degree Works is a comprehensive, easy-to-use, web-based academic advising and degree audit tool designed to assist you and your advisors in navigating curriculum requirements and evaluating your progress towards graduation.

In addition, Degree Works offers the Student Educational Planner which is a tool for students to map out a course sequence toward graduation. Using this feature you and advisors can lay out a sequence of classes that fulfill remaining program requirements so you know exactly what you need finish your degree.

Degree Works is a tool for students with catalog terms Fall 2015 and later. Students with catalog terms prior to Fall 2015 will continue to use the current degree evaluation tool- CAPP. However, you may still use the 'What-if' function within Degree Works to determine options for changing a major. If you wish to change your catalog term, contact your advisor who can advise you on whether it is beneficial for your progress towards graduation.

STEPS TO VIEW YOUR DEGREE EVALUATION USING DEGREE WORKS:

  1. Log into MySCSU (myapps.southernct.edu).
  2. Click the Banner Web App.
  3. Select Student Services.
  4. Select Student Records.
  5. Select Degree Evaluation.
  6. Select Term.
  7. Process Degree Evaluation.

*NOTE:  Students with catalog term Fall 2015 or later will use Degree Works to access their Degree Evaluation. Students with a catalog term prior to Fall 2015, will use their original Degree Evaluation. For students considering changing their catalog term, the Degree Works Evaluation offers a "What-If" option to assist in decision-making. Click the button for Fall 2015 or later; then click the "What-If" link in the navigation pane on the left.
