Digital Signatures
Adobe Acrobat:
Adobe Acrobat Pro enables users to create, edit, fill, sign, and send documents. The Adobe Acrobat Pro DC “Fill and Sign” tool should be used by Faculty and Staff in all cases that are for general signature requests.

Adobe Sign:
Adobe Sign is a cloud-based e-signature service that allows the user to send, sign, track, and manage signature processes using a browser or mobile device. It is part of the Adobe Document Cloud suite of services. SCSU faculty and staff have access to Adobe Sign via the MyApps portal.
Further information, see Adobe Creative Cloud.
DocuSign:
We encourage that DocuSign be used strictly for signature acquisition processes that entail multiple recipients and when there is a need for functionality that is specific to DocuSign.
To submit a DocuSign request, please email your request to: helpdesk@southernct.edu.
Outlook:
Documents are often sent via email requesting signatures be added. The Outlook desktop client and the Outlook Web App provide an AdobeSign “Add-in” to aid in the process.

Microsoft Office Lens:
If working with forms on-the-go, the Microsoft Office Lens app provides an easy solution for editing, uploading/scanning, and signing documents.
