Alcohol and Other Drug Services (AOD) serves as the campus resource for students seeking information and personal assistance for substance abuse.
Southern students have access to multiple resources on alcohol and other drugs. Our programs and services aim to reduce harmful consequences associated with the use of alcohol and other drugs, to support you in achieving your personal and academic goals.
Presentations are available to classrooms, residential staff, and athletic teams about alcohol and other drug services and support resources both on and off campus.
If you are concerned about your own alcohol or drug use and would like to speak to a licensed professional, please contact us to set up an appointment.
If you are questioning whether you have a problem with alcohol or other drugs, or with gambling, please take an assessment online.
We offer 12-step meetings and peer support groups on campus to support students, and we can provide you with information about resources and support groups in the community.
