Wireless Communication Devices (Faculty and Staff)
IT provides multiple levels of support for mobile devices – Full Support for University-issued mobile devices; Limited Support for personal devices owned by faculty and staff using University synchronization and application services; and No Support for all other mobile devices.
Full Support:
Applies only to University-issued mobile devices and includes:
- Configuration, and diagnostic troubleshooting for use of University synchronization and application services.
- Configuration, and diagnostic troubleshooting for connection to University wireless network.
- Coordinate warranty repair services with vendor.
- Secured disposal of the device.
Limited Support:
Applies to personal mobile devices owned by faculty and staff that have the Smartphone or Tablet Activation service.
- Configuration and diagnostic troubleshooting for use of University synchronization and application services.
- Configuration and diagnostic troubleshooting for connection to University wireless network.
