Blackboard Learn 9 Student Support

SCSU currently uses Learn 9 (Blackboard Learn 9) provided by ConnSCU to all secondary education institutions overseen by the State of Connecticut. Learn 9 allows students to access their course materials ranging from assignments, discussions, journals, tests, surveys, and more. Accessibility to courses with online components, or to use for fully online courses are both possible. Use of Learn 9 enables both faculty, staff, and students to share content, submit and review assignments, elaborate on course discussion, view grades, and invite collaboration between users within the course.

Student Support:

  • Login Issues: The SCSU Help Desk can assist you with password and login issues.
  • Content Issues: You must contact your professor with all content-specific questions (e.g., I cannot see an assignment, I missed a due date, My exam won't submit).
  • Additional Resources: Information on how to perform common tasks in Learn 9 (e.g., How do I submit an assignment? How do I participate in Discussions? How do Wikis work?) can be found here.
