CEAT is equipped with 10 PCs and 2 iMacs. All of our computers feature state-of-the-art adaptive technology software. iPads, LiveScribe Echo smart pens, magnifiers, and laptops are also available for use or loan to registered SCSU students.

Kurzweil 3000 -  an assistive technology, text to speech, learning tool that supports the concept of UDL with a suite of  powerful reading, writing, test-taking and study skill tools that makes curricula accessible to all students. (Windows/Mac/iOS)

Kurzweil 1000 - Award-winning scan and read software that makes printed or electronic text accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired. (Windows, with scanner)

WYNN - literacy software tool designed to enhance success for individuals with reading challenges and writing difficulties. (Windows)

Read and Write Gold - Customizable toolbar that floats on top of commonly-used applications, including: Word, Google Docs, Pages, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, and Adobe. (Windows/Mac/iOS)

Natural Reader - text-to-speech software with natural sounding voices. This software can read to you any text such as Microsoft Word files, webpages, PDF files, and E-mails. NaturalReader can also convert any written text into audio files such as MP3 or WAV. (Windows)

Kidspiration - Using visual thinking methodologies, Kidspiration provides a cross-curricular visual workspace for K-5 learners.
