Food Security
SCSU on-campus Food Pantry opened October 2020. The pantry is in the back of the Wintergreen Building. It cannot be accessed through the front of the building, you can only access from the outside to get in. During the fall semester, the pantry was open six days a week!
Students can make an appointment by logging onto MySCSU > Navigate > Dean of Students – Wintergreen 141. Due to the pandemic, the pantry is by appointment only. You can call 203-392-8191 or email foodpantry@southernct.edu if you have any issues making an appointment through Navigate.
We do ask that students are enrolled at the university to access the pantry. All class years and statuses are welcome to shop! Students are asked to only take what they need when they visit the pantry with the ability to return on a weekly basis if needed.
