Resolution AFS-2425-01: Strategic Plan Adoption🔒

Status: Approved by Interim President Smith

The AFS formally adopted its Strategic Plan 2024-2025: "Empowering Leadership in Shared Governance," establishing three pillars: Advancing Accountability, Fostering Leadership, and Sustaining Governance. Key actions include new committee structures and a digital repository for resolutions, providing a roadmap for enhanced administrative faculty representation in university decision-making.


Resolution AFS-2425-02: Standardized Inclusive Search Procedures🔒

Status: Approved by Interim President Smith

Addressing concerns about exclusion, the AFS called for standardized, inclusive search procedures for all senior campus leadership positions. This mandates formalized procedures, consultation with key senates and unions, and clear guidelines for stakeholder representation, ensuring administrative faculty voices are included in critical hiring.


Resolution AFS-2425-03: Constitution and By-Laws Presidential Approval ðŸ”’

Status: Approved by Interim President Smith

The AFS submitted its revised Constitution and By-Laws for presidential approval, modernizing its governance. Major improvements include a structured committee system, a President-Elect position, and a formalized resolution review process, creating a sustainable framework for administrative faculty representation and advocacy.
