Sit Down and Write

Trying to make time to just Sit Down & Write? Come join us in the Library and spend some time in quiet company, just writing. We’ve got computers, or bring your own. Bring your own food/beverage, or stop at the Owl Perch café. Join (or leave) us anytime during the 2 hours. Longhand writers welcome, too!

Questions? Contact Rebecca Hedreen, hedreenr1@southernct.edu.

If you are looking to get a little extra help with your writing, please schedule an appointment with the Academic Success Center.

The Academic Success Center is populated with peer tutors. They are there to help you organize your thoughts, clarify your language, and help you become a stronger writer. They are not copy editors; they are not going to “fix” your paper. However, if you make appointments, come with questions, and listen, you will become a stronger writer.

If you are interested in becoming a writing tutor, please apply.
