HAVEN: Understanding Sexual Assault FAQ

Please see below some of the most common questions, comments and concerns experienced by students and an overview of solutions.

1. I completed Part I and I am trying to complete Part II but my progress is not being shown when I logged in.
    a. There are a few possible reasons that this may be happening:
        i. You used a different email for registering and completing Part I than the one you are logging in with now, so when you log in with a different email it shows you as being at the beginning of the course since it doesn’t recognize you as a user.
            1. If this is the case, try logging in with the email you think you originally used to register and complete Part I.
            2. If you are still having trouble, contact the VPAS Center for assistance.
ii. You misspelled your SCSU email when you registered for Part I or when logging in to complete Part II.  This will make it a new email you are currently logging in with, so it shows you as being at the beginning of the course since it doesn’t recognize you as a user.
            1. If this is the case, make sure that you are spelling your email correctly.
            2. If you are still having trouble, contact the VPAS Center for assistance.

2. I never received the informational email for HAVEN.
    a. All incoming students were sent the login information via their Southern email on August 11. Contact the VPAS Center for assistance.

3. I have completed Part I but when I log in with Part I showing it is completed, I am not able to click on Part II.
    a. Part II is available 30 days after completing Part I. You will receive an email notification when Part II is available.
    b. If you are still having trouble, contact the VPAS Center for assistance.

4. I am having technical difficulties with HAVEN.
    a. Contact HAVEN Technical Support for support.
