The Financial Literacy and Advising office is a resource for Southern students and families with an emphasis on paying for college and help with general personal money management.
I’m Lew DeLuca and wanted to share some financial literacy resources I provide for your students here at Southern. As someone who is passionate about personal finance, I work with thousands of students teaching the basics of budgeting, credit, and investing. Your children are in good hands if they wish to learn about how to be smart with money and create strategies for short-term and long-term financial wellness. As a parent myself, I treat my students with honesty, patience, and compassion empowering them with the tools needed for a lifetime of financial success. Know that I have their financial health in mind throughout our meetings and presentations as I approach paying for college with a desire for earning scholarships and alternative ways for payment to lessen the student loan debt burden at graduation. Looking forward to being your student’s financial coach during their days at Southern.
