Events and Programs

We aim to provide our entire campus population with a variety of active and fun activities throughout the year. Our events and programs happen in many different formats that include on-ground, off-campus and virtual.

Virtual Programs

We offer many programs and events through our Instagram page which allows students,   faculty and staff to participate from anywhere.

Walking Challenge via the MoveSpring App

This program runs in October and April

We encourage our students to be active! Students are challenged to compete in a month-long walking challenge where they can win prizes such as apple watches, airpods, and giftcards.

Stress Less with Rec

“Stress Less with Rec” is a program leading up to finals week. Videos are released daily with mental health professionals offering advice on how to “stress less” using guided meditations and other mindful practices.

Yoga Series

We host multiple Yoga Series throughout the year that can be accessed directly through   Instagram. These series often provide prizes for participation and completion.

On-Ground Events

Throughout the course of the year we host many different on-ground events for both our residential and commuter students. At these events, we provide free food and giveaways for all participants.
