Psychology Students Involved

Journal of Student Psychological Research: This is a journal published annually by the Psychology department. It consists of student-authored papers, and is edited by a staff of graduate and undergraduate Psychology students. JSPR provides an outlet for undergraduate and graduate students in Psychology and related areas to publish their research. It also provides excellent training for the editorial staff, and is a particularly valuable experience for students planning to apply to doctoral programs.

Psi Chi and the Psychology Club: Psi Chi is the national honor society for Psychology, and we have an active chapter at SCSU.  The Psychology Club is open to all students interested in Psychology, and holds regular meetings and sponsors events for students.

Research Opportunities: Describes ways that you can get research experience for course credit, including PSY 197, 463, 467, 499, and the Honors Thesis.
