Position Summary

The University Assistant (UA) will assist the Faculty Director and Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Staff to support events, programs, projects, and services of the Integrated Justice & Social Change Collaborative. Additionally, the UA will assist with day-to-day operations of the Collaborative with the Faculty Director. 

Responsibilities

Assist the Faculty Director in the preparation, execution, evaluation, and engagement of the day-to-day programs, activities, and engagement opportunities that run through the Collaborative which includes connecting in individual and team meetings to discuss progress and process updates as it relates to the Collaborative. 

Assist with managing the digital communications of the Collaborative to various individuals and community organizations.  Documents relevant forms of correspondence for tracking and evaluation purposes.  

Assist the Faculty Director with overseeing the social media platforms and engagement for the Collaborative and assist with generating content and materials for external audiences.  

Assist the Faculty Director with providing technical support and assistance for the Journal of Collaboration for Equitable Change. Works collaboratively with the Director to manage tasks of the editorial board. 

Assist with answering/addressing questions and concerns regarding the Collaborative through phone calls, email and walk-in inquires.

Requirements

• BS Degree
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and web-based databases.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
