Position Description
The University Assistant (UA) works under the supervision of the Associate Dean with administrative duties related to the Dean’s office. The hourly rate for this position is $22-$25 an hour.
Position Duties
Answer/address student questions and concerns regarding admissions through phone calls, email and walk-in inquires.
Assists in the transcripts review for all applications to the College of Education.
Assist with following up with students on meeting outstanding admission stipulations.
Assists in general office coverage, in-person, on the phone, and electronically as determined by the Associate Dean.
Assists in the archiving of certification paperwork to OnBase.
Performs other duties and responsibilities related to those described above as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree or higher.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and web-based databases.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to perform assignments with limited supervision
The candidate should possess computer/technical expertise at mastery level.
