The Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment and Student Success reports to the Associate Dean of Graduate Enrollment Management, and also assists the Associate Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies in advancing the graduate and continuing education programs of the University.  Responsible for assisting in the identification, recruitment, selection and enrollment of new students, overseeing the graduate and continuing education communication and marketing plan, and cultivating relationships externally.
   
Position Responsibilities:
         

Assists in establishing a student-centered, goal-oriented culture within the School of Graduate and Professional Studies.

Assists in developing, implementing, and assessing successful marketing, recruitment, and admission strategies and processes to ensure new graduate student and continuing education enrollment goals are met. Responsible for employing research and analytical measures to ensure the above.

Responsible for research, statistical reports, and data analysis, and appropriate and timely sharing of the information with the University community to ensure a climate of collaborative enrollment planning and management, with regard to recruitment, including websites and social media, admissions, and enrollment.

Serves as the primary liaison with the University’s CRM Coordinator to ensure graduate and continuing education reports, dashboards, and communication plans are current and effective, and that the applicant/student experience is consistent throughout the student lifecycle.

Assists in developing and assessing on-campus recruitment programs to promote the University to prospective students and external constituents, including the local and regional community.

Coordinates admissions operations, workflow, practices and policies related to, and performs evolution of the selection of all applicants for graduate and continuing education admission. 

Engages in travel to recruit graduate students. 

Assists in the operation, upgrading, testing and implementation of the Banner Student Module and subsequent enhancements as it relates to graduate students.

Responsible for writing and maintaining documentation for the Graduate Admission and Continuing Education processes.

Assists in developing and maintaining all marketing and promotional materials related to the School of Graduate and Professional Studies.

May supervise part time employees or others staff as needed.

Performs other duties and responsibilities related to those enumerated above which do not alter the basic level of responsibility of the position.

  
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree is required; A Master's degree is preferred. Three years of experience in admissions work preferably in graduate admissions and in research and analytics is preferred. Experience with continuing education and community outreach preferred.  These qualifications may be waived for individuals with appropriate alternate experience.  Experience with a CRM system, or comprehensive communication plan is required, Slate Technolutions preferred.
