The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies within the College of Education at Southern Connecticut State University invites applications to apply for part-time adjunct teaching positions within the Sixth-Year Certificate Program, 092 Program, and Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) Position Requirements:

An earned doctorate in Educational Leadership/Administration or a closely related field. Evidence of successful practitioner experience as a school leader (e.g., assistant principal, principal, superintendent) within the PreK-12 educational setting preferred.  Successful experience teaching face-to-face, hybrid, and online within the higher education setting while effectively utilizing a Learning Management System (Blackboard) with instruction preferred.  Successful dissertation service (chair or committee member) experience also preferred.

Summary of Duties:

The successful candidate will teach evening courses within our Sixth-Year Certificate Program, 092 Program, and Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) Programs.  Courses are taught both on-campus and/or on the campuses of PreK-12 school districts throughout the region.  In addition, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to serve on dissertation committees depending on individual background and experiences.
