The Chemistry Department at Southern Connecticut State University invites applications for a one-year full-time faculty position starting in the fall 2021 with the possibility of extension into a second year based on mutual agreement. 
       

Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility will include teaching 100-level courses. Teaching upper level courses in an area of expertise may also be possible. The teaching load is 12 credit-hours per semester. Participation in department/university committees and activities is also expected.
      
Required Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in chemistry is required, and prior experience teaching at the college level is preferred.
