Completing a degree program and preparing for today's job market requires that students be well prepared, creative, and able to use a variety of programs and services that help them develop the necessary skills. To provide our students with the most up-to-date and comprehensive career development tools, the Office of Career and Professional Development offers an array of career planning programs to help  students decide what major to pursue, what career best suits them, and how to begin the all-important job search process.

All programs and events are open to undergraduate and graduate students. 

Career Fairs

Career Fairs are opportunities for students to connect with employers and organizations about upcoming opportunities. These experiences allow students to connect with local, regional, and national level employers and connect via video chat software.

Career & Internship Industry Fair Series

Southern Connecticut State University invites our industry and community partners to participate in our Spring 2024 Career and Internship Industry Fair series on March 6th and March 7th, 2024.  

These events target and engage students across specific disciplines and those who are exploratory. This event is for just-in-time and future hiring needs. Each fair hosts a limited number of booths, to increase engagement between our campus partners and attendees. Through Career Development’s partnership with academic departments, students and recent alumni will receive targeted and consistent promotions leading up to the event.

Learn how to utilize your degree. We will share different resources and tools that can guide you on how you can be successful within your major, and all the different opportunities.


Help with Pre-Health
