Completing a degree program and preparing for today's job market requires that students be well prepared, creative, and able to use a variety of programs and services that help them develop the necessary skills. To provide our students with the most up-to-date and comprehensive career development tools, the Office of Career and Professional Development offers an array of career planning programs to help students decide what major to pursue, what career best suits them, and how to begin the all-important job search process.
All programs and events are open to undergraduate and graduate students. Fall 2022 events will be updated as soon as they are available. In the meantime, here's a sample of some of our past events.

The fairs foster student and employer interaction while offering all students the opportunity to explore various careers, learn about organizations and industries, and apply for full-time, part-time, internship, and cooperative education opportunities. This career fair occurs off-campus in the New Haven community. OCPD will provide transportation to students to and from the career fair site.
