Supporting the Mental Health Needs of Our Students of Color

June 4, 2020

Dear Students:

The acts of violence against people of color have added to the already overwhelming stress the country is facing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Counseling Services recognizes the pain, fear, anger, and anxiety that our students may be feeling right now.

We also recognize the particular impact these events have on the mental health and well-being of our students of color.

Please know that you are not alone and we are here to support you.

For free and confidential support, we invite students to call Counseling Services at (203) 392-5475 or visit www.southernct.edu/counseling.
