With as much as 8 inches of snow in the forecast, Southern Connecticut State University will be closed Tuesday (Feb. 28).
All Tuesday classes -- both on-ground and virtual -- are canceled.
Only Level 1 (essential) employees are to report to campus. Level 2 (non-essential) employees should stay home and are not expected to telework on a snow day.
Connecticut Hall will be open for a brunch/dinner schedule (10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 9 p.m.), but the Adanti Student Center and all other food service outlets will remain closed for the day.
Please make sure that any vehicles in the lots are moved to campus parking garages by 5 p.m. today (Monday) so that sanding and other clean-up activities can continue unimpeded tomorrow.
