Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities

The Educational Leadership and Policy Studies Department in the College of Education is seeking to fill a full-time, position at the rank of Faculty Fellow in Educational Leadership with a focus on Higher Education Leadership to begin August 2023. Candidates should have a broad background in either P-12 leadership, higher ed leadership and/or education policy experience. The teaching workload for this position is up to 5 courses per academic year. The successful candidate is expected to teach graduate courses in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Courses are taught in a hybrid modality consisting of courses taught in person and synchronously online. Student advisement, scholarly activities, service on university committees, and participation in activities that advance the department’s mission are also required of the position. The fellow will be offered the opportunity to spend time working in the Center for Teaching and Learning and shadow the Dean on the Superintendent’s Network where possible.
Required Qualifications
- Earned doctorate in Educational Leadership or similar field, including ABD, from an accredited institution;
- to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the university.
